Video Tutorial
The only thing SellersFi needs to know is the store name and the Admin API access token of your store. To get it, you'll have to create a "custom app" which is nothing more than enabling some options on the admin page of your store to allow our services to read the data. Once you get the access token, you'll need to copy and paste the access token in the SellersFi's connection page.
Step 1. Log in into your Shopify Store Admin:
Step 2. Enable custom app development from the Shopify admin
Before you can create a custom app for your store, you need to enable custom app development. You must be the store owner or a staff member with the Enable app development permission to enable custom app development.
How to:
• From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
• Click Develop apps.
• Click Allow custom app development.
• Read the information provided, and then click Allow custom app development.
PS: If you have previously allowed custom app development, just access Apps and sales channels.
Step 3. Create the app
• From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
• Click Develop apps.
• Click Create a custom app.
• In the modal window, enter the App name and select an App developer. The app developer can be the store owner, or any staff or collaborator account with the Develop apps permission.
• Click Create app.
Step 4. Select API scopes
Please note you are giving read-only access for us to view your information. Your information can not be edited or changed by our team.
After you create a custom app, you can assign API scopes. A custom app can have Admin API scopes, Storefront API scopes, or both, depending on the requirements of the app.
• Click "Configure Admin API scopes":
• In Admin API scopes, select the following options: read_analytics, read_inventory, read_locations, read_orders, read_reports, read_shopify_payments_accounts, read_shopify_payments_bank_accounts.
• Click Save button:
Step 5. Install the app and get the API access tokens
After you've set API scopes for your app, you can install the app. You'll get your API access tokens after you install. Depending on what API scopes you assigned to the app, you will get an Admin API access token, a Storefront API access token, or both.
• Click Install app.
• In the modal window, click Install app.
• Get the access token:
• If you selected Admin API scopes for the app, go to the Admin API access token section and click Reveal token once.
Click Reveal token once, copy and paste this token in a document that can be retrieved whenever you need - Shopify reveals it just once.
Once you see your token, copy and paste it in a document. Save it carefully. That is the only access token you can provide to SellersFunding:
PS: we do not need the API key and secret key.
Step 6. Input your store name and paste the token, click Check:
If you don't know the name of your store, please use the link below to help you identify the name:
Step 7. Once checked, you will go back to our system with your store connected like shown below:
Now select the stores you want and proceed with the process.
