Before switching your account information within Amazon Seller Central, we recommend this be done at least THREE days before your next scheduled payment date and that you inform Amazon’s client service. This can reduce the risk of Amazon identifying the activity as an unauthorized activity.
Amazon scrutinizes every deposit method swap. We recommend following the steps below to reduce unnecessary flags.
Occasionally, to make sure it is not a fraudulent activity on your account, Amazon might review your new account information, and it might take up to three days. If the account information is still under review on the scheduled payment date, the payment will be delayed. During this time, your Amazon store’s ranking and listing will be paused.
You can request a call from Amazon Support for any further assistance during this process. Check Urgent to get a call within 30 minutes.
We recommend that you contact and inform Amazon’s client service before switching your bank account to your Digital Wallet. This can reduce the risk of Amazon identifying the activity as unauthorized.
STEP 1:
Log in to your Amazon Seller Central.
Click on "Help" in the right-hand upper corner of the Seller Central.
STEP 2:
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Get Support” under the Need More Help section
STEP 3:
Click on “Selling on Amazon”
STEP 4:
Click on the “Or, browse for your issue in the menu” blue link
STEP 5:
Scroll down and find “Your Account”
STEP 6:
Click on “Other account issues”
STEP 7:
Type "Please call" in the Describe Your Issue box, go to the Contact Method section and enter your phone number to get a call. Click the box for "This issue is urgent and requires immediate attention".
Important to Note:
In the Describe Your Issue box, you can type in your full issue, but they may show you various options to solve your problem. The easiest way to get a call is not to describe the exact issue and discuss it with them over the call.
When you have the Amazon rep, please ask them to RESET your current deposit method for your Amazon “CA, UK, EU, US, whichever”. They will ask you a couple of security questions and reset your method.
**DO NOT ask them to replace your method or add an account, they are not able to do that. Once reset, you are able to add your own account information without fears of an Amazon flag.
